The Carrollwood area is preparing to celebrate the opening of its much-anticipated Pollo Tropical® restaurant!  The popular, Caribbean-inspired restaurant chain will open the doors of its newest restaurant on Friday, October 18, in the North Pointe Plaza at 15298 North Dale Mabry Highway.

Carrollwood residents, business owners and dignitaries are preparing to celebrate the awaited opening of Pollo Tropical by gathering beach chairs, sandals, sunscreen and sunglasses.  The community will celebrate at Pollo Tropical starting at 9:00 a.m. in true tropical style with a 12-Hour Beach Party!

One lucky Grand Opening Beach Party attendee will even win Free Pollo Tropical for a Year!* Participants are being urged to arrive early to be among the first 100 guests in line for the restaurant’s 10:30 a.m. opening.  Participants must be present to win, and the drawing and winner announcement take place at 11:00 a.m.  

Tampa’s new Pollo Tropical in Carrollwood features the brand’s famous Citrus Marinated Grilled Chicken, Create Your Own TropiChop® Bowls, savory Mojo Roast Pork, and Guava BBQ Riblets.

To top off its tropical menu offerings, the Pollo Tropical Salsa Bar is stocked with a variety of unique and tempting sauces including Spicy Poyo Poyo, Cilantro Garlic, Fresh Salsa, Salsa Fuego, Curry Mustard, Guava BBQ and more.  The new location also features the “Pollo on the Go” drive thru. 

Opening daily at 10:30 a.m., the new location is in the North Pointe Plaza at 15298 North Dale Mabry Highway – at the intersection of North Dale Mabry Highway and West Bearss Avenue.
