Pollo Tropical, the fast casual restaurant known for its citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken and comfort-food-gone-Caribbean sides like corn souffle and balsamic tomatoes, celebrates the opening of its newest restaurant on Saturday, June 11 at 260 Cobb Parkway South in Marietta.
Events kick off at 10 a.m. with remarks delivered by representatives from the City of Marietta and Pollo Tropical. Doors open to the public at 10:30 a.m. for the day-long celebration with entertainment for the entire family, including a live DJ, face painting, a balloon artist, a rock climbing wall, spin-and-win prizes and more. The first 100 customers will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win Free Chicken for a Year*. The first 100 guests will also receive a coupon for a free meal on a future visit.
“Georgia has embraced our island-inspired menu and our company is positioned to grow throughout the state with five new locations scheduled to open by the end of the year,” said Pollo Tropical Chief Operating Officer Danny Meisenheimer. “Our newest restaurant brings the flavors and spirit of the Caribbean to the heart of Marietta, and we invite all our neighbors in the area to join us at the grand opening celebration for food and family fun.”
The 3,700-square-foot restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to midnight daily, and will feature indoor and outdoor seating for more than 90 guests, with limited table service and a convenient drive-thru. Kids 12 and under eat free every Tuesday at Pollo Tropical from open to close with the purchase of an adult entree. Guests can receive a coupon for either a buy one, get one free small TropiChop® or $3 off a family meal by signing up for the Pollo Reward$® loyalty program.
