Shrimp is grilling in a mojo flavor recipe at all Pollo Tropical® kitchens for a limited-time only menu appearance in the Shrimp Create Your Own TropiChop®, Shrimp Quesadilla Wrap and Shrimp Quesadilla Salad!
The Grilled Shrimp Create Your Own TropiChop arrives just in time for the Lent season and can be created using the many fresh ingredients that are part of the create-your-own concept – from yellow or brown rice to lettuce, black beans & white rice – to toppings like corn, sautéed onions, tomatoes, peppers, and more.
Pollo Tropical’s Grilled Shrimp is rich in flavor but can be slim in calories – for example, a generous portion in the small Grilled Shrimp Create Your Own TropiChop with half rice, half lettuce and topped with diced tomatoes is only 250 calories!
The Grilled Shrimp is also being offered in the popular and equally-delicious Shrimp Quesadilla Salad and Shrimp Quesadilla Wrap. The Grilled Shrimp Salad features basted grilled shrimp, crisp romaine lettuce, black bean fiesta salad, multi-colored tortilla chips, and shredded cheddar jack cheese. The salad is topped off with a 6 inch hot pressed cheese quesadilla and served with Chipotle Ranch dressing on the side.
The Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla Wrap features basted grilled shrimp, melted cheddar jack cheese, freshly chopped tomatoes, and a tangy chipotle dressing – all on an 8.5 inch flatbread that is finished on the grill press.
