Pollo Tropical brings back its popular Tangy Pineapple Chicken Wrap and Tangy Pineapple Chicken Salad, first introduced to rave reviews in 2013, for a limited time. It also introduces its new Tropical Citrus Shrimp starter.
The Tangy Pineapple Chicken Wrap features pineapple grilled with olive oil, cumin and a hint of black pepper; citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken breast; Monterey Jack cheese; and chipotle mayo, all wrapped in a thin flatbread and finished on the Pollo Tropical grill press.
The Pollo Tropical Tangy Pineapple Salad features grilled pineapple atop a bed of romaine lettuce, sweet corn, roasted red peppers and citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken breast, served with Mango Poppy Seed Vinaigrette dressing.
“Our healthy new limited-time menu items offer guests several light, delicious new ways to enjoy our Caribbean-inspired cuisine this spring,” said Pollo Tropical Director of Marketing Sandra Pascual. “They’re only here for a limited time, so people need to get them while they last.”
Healthy new Tropical Citrus Shrimp is a craveable, ceviche-like dish, perfect as an appetizer, side or snack, that features citrus-marinated cooked shrimp, thinly sliced red onions, diced tomatoes, fresh cilantro and a touch of fresh jalapeño.
The Tangy Pineapple Chicken Wrap, Tangy Pineapple Chicken Salad and Tropical Citrus Shrimp will be offered at most Pollo Tropical locations in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
